Shred Med is the medical-waste division of the Shred Utah / Shred Salt Lake family. We bring the same local, responsive service mindset to healthcare waste: clear communication, reliable service and a process designed to be easy for customers.
Why now
The complaint was never about the waste
Utah practices kept telling us the same story about their waste provider. It was contracts, surcharges and hold music.
We already run local routes and already answer our own phone, so extending that to medical waste was the obvious move, and we would rather do it properly for facilities our size than badly at scale.
How we work
The service is deliberately unremarkable
Good waste service is service you stop thinking about after the second month.
Containers that fit the room. A schedule that holds. An invoice that says what you expected it to say. A phone number that reaches somebody who can change something. That is the entire product, and everything else on this site is a detail of it.
Straight dealing
You will hear no on the first call, not on the first invoice
We will turn down a waste stream we are not authorised to accept.
